John Stupak
Chairman

Read Bio

Mr. Stupak is the Chairman of Sequel Youth and Family Services and has more than 40 years experience in the behavioral health industry. Mr Stupak is the former Board Chair of the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare. Prior to becoming Sequel's Chairman, Mr. Stupak held several roles at Sequel including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. Before joining Sequel, He worked for NHS Human Services, a large and diversified provider of behavioral health and human services. In addition to NHS, Mr. Stupak worked in an executive capacity for the Mentor Network. He graduated from Temple University with a master's degree from the School of Social Administration with a concentration in planning, research, and evaluation.

Chris Roussos
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Roussos is the Chief Executive Officer for Sequel Youth and Family Services. Mr. Roussos has extensive experience building healthcare and consumer growth companies with vibrant service oriented cultures. Prior to joining Sequel, Mr. Roussos successfully ran numerous multi-site healthcare and consumer companies including, pediatric home health, pediatric therapy, autism, community care, rehabilitation therapy, urgent care, hospice and fitness. Mr. Roussos additionally served 11 year in the U.S. Army. He graduated the University of Phoenix with a MBA and Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Mandy Moses
Executive VP of Operations
Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Moses is Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer for Sequel Youth and Family Services and has more than 20 years experience in the childcare industry. Ms. Moses began her career as an Investigator with the South Dakota Department of Social Services. In 1992, Ms. Moses accepted employment at Clarinda Academy. During her tenure at Clarinda Academy, Ms. Moses successfully served in the position of Senior Counselor, Team Leader, and Admissions Representative, which led to her promotion to Group Living Director. Upon completion of a master's degree in social work, she accepted the Executive Director position at Woodward Academy. In 2007, Ms. Moses was promoted to Executive Vice President and in 2014 promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Jason Cagle
Chief Administrative Officer
Chief Financial Officer

Jason serves as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Sequel Youth & Family Services. Jason brings extensive experience to Sequel as part of the management team that grew United Surgical Partners International, Inc. from 44 facilities and $30M EBITDA to ~$800M EBITDA and almost 400 facilities. During his tenure, he executed $3B in M&A and managed a direct organization of approximately 500 people including traditional finance functions, IT, business intelligence, managed care and revenue cycle, and supply chain. He began his career in Corporate Finance for Vinson & Elkins from 1999 to 2003.

Diane McCullom
Chief Clinical Officer

Diane is the Chief Clinical Officer for Sequel Youth & Family Services responsible for leading Sequel’s efforts in quality and outcomes measures. She is clinical nurse with 25+ years of experience working in the field and at corporate offices of home health care and hospice agencies. Diane’s efforts have been critical in instituting a culture of clinical excellence and superior patient care everywhere she has worked. Her previous roles include Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for Epic Health Services, Regional Vice President of Operations for Premier Home Care Services, Executive and Area Director at SeniorBridge, and Regional Vice President of Operations for Patient Care, among others. Diane began her nursing career in the cardiac surgical ICU at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital.

Samantha Lee
Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer

Samantha is the Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer for Sequel Youth & Family Services. She has an impressive background in healthcare compliance and possesses the skills to assess, interpret, and incorporate applicable regulations that enhance the quality, service, and care an organization provides. Prior to joining Sequel, Ms. Lee orchestrated compliance programs in numerous post-acute settings as well as an inpatient psychiatric hospital and chemical dependency treatment facility. She is a registered nurse and graduate of Dakota Wesleyan University and holds a certificate in healthcare compliance.

Samuel Vaill
Chief Growth Officer

Sam is the Chief Growth Officer for Sequel Youth & Family Services. Sam is responsible for leading and managing Sequel’s strategic growth plan across multiple channels which includes mergers & acquisitions (M&A), organic, de novo site openings, and real estate expansion. Sam has extensive experience building healthcare growth companies through both acquisition and organic growth. Prior to joining Sequel, he helped build a multi-site healthcare company focused on outsourced emergency medicine and hospitalist management from $300M in revenue and 60 sites to $1B+ and 225 sites. Sam is a graduate from the Olin School of Business at Babson College (MBA) and Tufts University.

Sybil Potts
Chief Financial Officer, Operations

Sybil is the Chief Financial Officer, Operations for Sequel Youth and Family Services reporting to Jason Cagle, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer. Ms. Potts has 30+ years of financial management experience with an emphasis on the behavioral healthcare industry. Prior to joining Sequel Youth and Family Services in 2007, Ms. Potts served as the Chief Financial Officer for Kids Behavioral Health.

Steve Gilbert
Executive Vice President
Marketing & Customer Development

Mr. Gilbert is the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Customer Development for Sequel Youth and Family Services. He began his career in the childcare industry as a youth counselor at the Clarinda Academy in 1992. He was employed with Youth Services International (YSI) for seven years and served the company as the Clarinda Academy Admissions Director, Regional Admissions and Marketing Director, and the National Marketing and Business Development Director. Mr. Gilbert joined Sequel Youth and Family services as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development in 1999.

Jack Rachko
Vice President and Chief Culture Officer

Mr. Rachko is Vice President/Chief Culture Officer for Sequel Youth and Family Services and has over 32 years of experience in the residential treatment field. Mr. Rachko graduated from St. Joseph's University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. He held numerous direct care and administrative positions while at the school. In addition, Mr. Rachko has trained and consulted for numerous social service agencies, schools, and residential programs both nationally and internationally. He started training and consulting for Sequel in 2001 and was promoted to Chief Culture Officer in 2014. In 2016, he was promoted to Vice President.

Christine Aron
Vice President of Business Development

Ms. Aron is the Vice President of Business Development for Sequel Youth and Family Services (SYFS). Ms. Aron holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Virginia Tech and came to Sequel with experience in financial forecasting and modeling, process and system enhancements, and strategic problem solving. Ms. Aron began her career with Accenture, where she supported several clients within the Health & Public Service operating group through her roles in corporate finance. Ms. Aron joined Sequel in 2014 and was promoted to Vice President in 2016.

Susanne Young
Vice President of Administrative Services

Ms. Young is the Vice President of Administrative Services and the HIPAA Privacy Officer for Sequel Youth and Family Services. She has overall responsibility for HR, Compliance, Quality Assurance, Risk Management and Outcomes. Ms. Young began her career working with children with developmental disabilities in 1995, first as a One on One Aide, and then as a Behavior Interventionist. In 2004, Ms. Young was employed by Camelot Schools and worked in the roles of: Facility Services Director, Admissions Coordinator, and Assistant Executive Director, which led up to her promotion as the Corporate Risk Manager. In 2011, Ms. Young joined Sequel Youth and Family Services as the Director of QMS and Risk Management, when they acquired Camelot Schools. In 2014, Ms. Young was promoted to Vice President of Administrative Services.

Jason Willetts
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Willetts leads Sequel's staff of network engineers and tech support agents. He is responsible for implementation and maintenance of all hardware and software systems. Willetts has 20 years of experience in the technology industry and is an entrepreneur and tech evangelist. He is passionate about leveraging technology to achieve organizational and individual goals. Prior to becoming Sequel Chief Technology Officer, Willetts led his own Company and a team of programmers who developed several next generation web based software solutions for a variety of industries. Mr. Willetts graduated from James Madison University and resides in Cumberland, Maryland with his wife and four children.

Roy Day
Vice President of Human Resources

Mr. Day is Vice President of Human Resources for Sequel Youth and Family Services. Possessing more than 18 years of strategical and tactical Human Resource experience, he specializes in talent management, employee relations, employment law and employee compensation and benefits. Mr. Day is responsible for implementing human resource strategies that will enable Sequel to recruit, engage and retain a high performing and motivated workforce. He began his career as a Recruiter for Bank of America. Prior to joining Sequel, Mr. Day worked as the Director of Human Resources for a long-term healthcare facility and served as Regional Human Resource Manager and Corporate Director of Human Resources for healthcare management company.
