Our Mission

Sequel Alliance Family Services of Idaho (SAFS) offers quality outpatient behavioral healthcare services to children, adolescents and adults. We are dedicated to promoting independence and a better quality of life to all those we serve by:

Psychiatric Services

SAFS offers psychiatric services including diagnostics evaluations, consultations, and medication management.

Community Based Rehabilitation - Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Basic Skills Training

Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) provides intense in-home and community based interventions to assist clients to change behaviors and build life skills. CBR services are geared towards severely emotionally disturbed youth and adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Our CBR specialists have earned degrees in a variety of disciplines including social work, psychosocial rehabilitation, psychology, criminal justice, and early childhood development. All services are supervised by a qualified mental health professional.

Counseling Services

We focus on individual, couples and family counseling. Our masters-level counselors and social workers are qualified to offer counseling services. The areas of focus include, but are not limited to:

  • Substance abuse issues
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Conflict resolution
  • Couples therapy
  • Anger and depression
  • Domestic violence and sexual abuse
  • Grief and loss
  • Academic difficulties and/or ADHD
  • Life choices/transitions

  • Play Therapy ( ages 3-10)

  • Self – Harm Behaviors

Substance Abuse Treatment

Sequel Alliance Family Services, Inc. is certified by the state of Idaho to provide chemical dependency treatment to adolescent and adult clients.

All services are provided by a nationally certified chemical dependency counselor. Our substance abuse services include:

  • Drug and alcohol information classes
  • Chemical dependency evaluations
  • Intensive outpatient services
  • Outpatient/educational services
  • DUI Evaluations
  • Domestic violence evaluations and treatment
  • Individual sessions

Developmental Disability Program

Habilitative Intervention and Support provides instruction to children with developmental disabilities to acquire daily living skills. Our Habilitative Intervention professionals and support workers work with a child to increase his or her skills in the areas of self-care, language, learning, mobility, self-direction, capacity for independent living, and economic self-sufficiency. We provide services to children 0-3 and children 3-17 in the home, community, and center settings. In our after-school and summer programs children participate in a variety of skill building activities.
