Lexington Academy
Established in 1996, Lexington Academy is a therapeutic and educational community for boys ages 12 to 19. Our 300-acre campus is located on the Englishton Park campus in Southern Indiana and is an ideal setting for a residential program. This program utilizes a cognitive behavioral model with intensive group, individual, and family counseling. Lexington Academy offers a year-round academic program provided by the local school corporation, utilizes a peer empowerment model and family support.

Student Profile
Males, ages 12 to 19 years old - Full scale IQ of 70 and above
- Children who are impulsive/irresponsible
- Denies or justifies negative behavior
- Exhibits poor coping skills
- Non-compliant with authority
- Demonstrates low degree of empathy
- Children with affective disorders, conduct disorders, ADHD
- Substance abuse
- Sexually maladaptive youth
- Learning disabilities
Whom do we serve?
Boys with oppositional defiant disorder and/or who have difficulty in school. Individuals with moderate to severe emotional problems who would benefit from a structured day and extensive clinical programming. We also work with boys who have a primary diagnosis of substance abuse and older boys that are in need of independent living skills.
