Notice of Privacy Practices

Union Juvenile was adopted into the Sequel TSI family in 2006 as a moderate risk facility that provides specialized treatment to 24 adolescent males that have been committed to the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. Union Juvenile Residential Facility is dedicated to excellence in providing sex offender treatment to males between the ages of 12 and 19. The program prides itself in the use of evidenced based programming and behavior management that is reflective of the most current research. Union Juvenile excels in developing young men into productive individuals through the focus on family, morals, values, and healthy sexuality. Through the course of nine to twelve months young men at Union Juvenile will receive specialized treatment for an array of sexual behavior problems, mental health and substance abuse overlay services, educational and vocational services, and comprehensive transitional and discharge planning. Our mission is to maintain safety in the community through effective holistic treatment of the offender. This is achieved through the use of a positive peer culture that fosters respect, individuality, and enhances the strengths of each young man that it serves.

Whom Do We Serve?

The youth served by Union Juvenile are typically first time sex offenders. Offenders with sexual battery charges where force or violence occurred or offenders with multiple victims or pedophiles are not appropriate. Offenders must have a completed psychosexual evaluation. These youth demonstrate criminal thinking, lack of social skills, physical and emotional boundaries. They struggle with healthy sexuality, anger management and positive coping skills to handle stress. Union Juvenile Residential Facility provides them with evidenced based services, programming and behavior management that assists them in developing into responsible young men before returning to the community.
