Community-Based Services

SequelCare of Maine

SequelCare of Maine

SequelCare of Maine is made up of three divisions, Child & Family Services, Outpatient Mental Health and Home Health Care. Our statewide services are provided out of three regional offices in Belfast, Brewer, and Yarmouth.

The Child and Family Services Division offers intensive behavioral health services to children with developmental disabilities and mental or behavioral disorders, and support for their families. An experienced team of professionals are trained to assist children in developing skills to manage their behavior disorders while taking a family- centered approach. SequelCare staff provide services in the client's home as well as approved community settings. Each client is provided with a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment plan that builds on the child's strengths and accomplishments.

The Outpatient Mental Health Division provides individual, marital, family, and group therapy, as well as medication management for all ages in our offices located in Belfast and Yarmouth. Our staff of licensed providers offers a safe place to express feelings, clarify thinking, problem-solve difficult life decisions, and work toward goals.

The Home Care Division provides personalized healthcare to clients of all ages in the privacy of their homes. We collaborate with physicians, hospital discharge planners, case managers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate the care for our clients. Our experienced team of healthcare professionals includes registered nurses and personal support specialists.
